Princess Indhumathi

Princess Indhumathi

Once upon a time, there was a king named Bheem and queen named Malana. They had a daughter named Indumathi. She always helped other people and not only her. One day Malana went to get water from the well. A hunter thought it was an animal and accidentally killed her. King Bheem married another woman who said her name was Flower. But she was very cruel. And she would always snatch everything from Indu. Indu found out from her magical mirror that the woman’s actual name was Cruhill. So Indu asked her father to marry another woman and so her father asked the palace’s wedding planner to get another woman instead of this cruel woman Cruhill. And so the wedding planner said, that you should marry another woman. And so he married another woman named Flower. She was the real Flower. Flower was very nice, just like Indu. So Cruhill got very mad. And almost killed the King. But Flower and Indu asked Cruhill to be very nice and to take classes of being nice every day. But Cruhill did not want to do that. And then Flower and Indu would ask the guards to arrest Cruhill. So the guards arrested her and put her in a locked room. But Cruhill had magical powers to keep all the guards locked in another room and took the keys to unlock her. So she got free. But then Indu knew that Cruhill had magical powers. So Indu asked her magical mirror to give her and Flower magical powers. So they fought with Cruhill and then Cruhill’s powers were gone. Indu and Flower taught her how to be nice and she became a nice woman.

"Seetha Rescue" (as she puts it) is Ammu's favorite bedtime story :-) I start that with King Dasharatha killing that young boy thinking that it was an animal. I just hope..Ammu does not claim that Valmiki Maharshi copied her story :-))
